Kappie Farrington

Partner

Kappie Farrington brings 14 years of experience across economic development, venture philanthropy, and impact investing. Kappie most recently served on the founding team of Co-Impact, a $700M philanthropic fund that invests in large-scale economic opportunity, health, and education initiatives. Previously, Kappie launched an initiative at The Rockefeller Foundation focused on building more inclusive local economies in the US. Kappie began her career in management consulting where she advised Fortune 500 companies on their technology and innovation strategies.

Kappie received her MPA from Harvard Kennedy School where she was part of the Taubman Center for State and Local Economic Development cohort and recognized with a Public Leadership award. While there, she studied the intersection of economic development policy and real estate. She received her bachelors from the University of Virginia where she was honored as a Jefferson Scholar.

Peter Goergen

Partner

Peter brings 16 years of experience sourcing, structuring, and executing complex real estate development projects and investments. He has experience leading project visioning, overseeing design, entitlements, and construction, and engaging community stakeholders. Peter has closed deals across asset classes with private equity firms, family offices, banks, metro districts, and other financial institutions. Based in Denver, CO, he was most recently the Managing Director of Concord Summit Capital, a $480M discretionary real estate fund and capital markets advisory firm.

Peter previously ran acquisitions for award-winning developer East West Partners after serving as EWP’s Aspen/Snowmass market CFO. Before moving to Colorado eight years ago, Peter was the Vice President of Riverbend Development and Red Light Management in Charlottesville, VA, after serving as the Director of Business Development at Octagon Finance and Head of Development at Octagon Capital Partners. Peter graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia and later with Honors, receiving an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business.
